Heroshini Komali debuts in Tamil
Popular model Roshan debuts as the hero. Heroshini will be seen as the daughter of a police officer in the film directed by Raja Ghajini.
Heroshini Komali, who became a sensation with her mimicry shows (with her sister Devarshini) in the Telugu states, is being launched in Tamil with a campus film Utraan. Popular model Roshan debuts as the hero. Heroshini will be seen as the daughter of a police officer in the film directed by Raja Ghajini.
Even as horror and thriller genre films seem to be occupying the screens nowadays, ask Ghajini as to why he chose a campus subject and he responds, “College Campus stories laced with romance are always an evergreen subject to any filmmaker. Regardless of age, the audiences also relate to the onscreen happenings and a well-made college film has the magic to take the viewers to their college days. Utraan is one such film which will give you a nostalgic feel.”
It is a love story of a student whose life turns topsy-turvy over a small thing. The director adds that he has taken a leaf out of a real life incident that took place in 1994 in a city-based college. “There's a good message to guys who fail in their love affairs,” he reveals. While Vela Ramamurthy and Madhusudhana Rao play the villains, popular journalist Ravi Shankar debuts in a key character. Rahnandhan composes the music.
