After tasting back to back success with Remo and Bairavaa, Keerthy Suresh has landed several prestigious projects in Tamil and Telugu. She has Thaana Serndha Kootam with Suriya, and an untitled film with Tollywood’s Powerstar, Pawan Kalyan.

Currently, the actress is shooting for her Tamil-Telugu biopic based on veteran actress Savitri. Rumour has it that the actress will be gaining a few kilos for Nadigaiyar Thilagam (Mahanati in Telugu).

A source in the know tells us, “The rumours are true, but she won’t be putting on weight immediately. Since she has to shoot for Pawan Kalyan’s movie, she can’t risk adding those kilos now. Once she wraps up the film, she will be put on a diet to fit the role of Savitri.”

The source also added that there was a time where actress Savitri looked plump and was still ruling the roost. The bilingual will chronicle the life of the actress from the 1940s to 1980s.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the flick also has Samantha, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles. The shooting is currently underway and a picture of Keerthy Suresh clad in a saree with plaited hair has been circulating on social media.
