Meena forays into web series

Ace actress Meena, who quit films post-marriage, returned after a long gap with the Telugu remake of Drishyam. While she was turning down Tamil film offers, she had been active on television hosting shows and actins as judge in reality shows. Realising digital media is the next big thing the actress has moved to do a web series titled Karoline Kamatchi, where she shares screen space with French actress Giorgia Andriani.

Vivek Kumar, director of Arun Vijay starrer Boxer, has been brought on board to direct KK. It is the story of Indian CBI officer Kamatchi played by Meena and a French undercover agent Karoline essayed by Giorgia who are divided by character yet united by work profile.  After Kamal's Avvai Shanmugi, Meena essays a Brahmin lady in KK, bankrolled by Trend Loud.
