Aaron Aziz's all smiles
Speaking to DC from the sets, on how he bagged the role, he says, “This is my first Indian movie and I am happy to be part of a Tamil film''.
Popular actor from Singapore, Aaron Aziz, who debuts in Jayam Ravi’s space thriller Tik Tik Tik, produced by Jhabak and directed by Sakthi Soundarrajan, is in the city and action sequences are being shot currently.
Speaking to DC from the sets, on how he bagged the role, he says, “This is my first Indian movie and I am happy to be part of a Tamil film as I have heard lot of good things about the industry. I came to know through a casting company that the director was looking out for an actor who could play a non-Indian character in the film. I was on board as they felt I suited it well.”
How does he cope with the Tamil language? Aaron grins, “I am essaying character who is eloquent in English, and hence there are no issues. It was a humbling experience for me though. The director is a thorough professional and Ravi is such a down-to-earth hero. He is so easy to work with them and our comfort levels are very high.”
Rajinikanth and Prabhu Deva are two of the Tamil stars he is aware of — “I know Rajinikanth as I had watched Kabali and I have also heard of Prabhu Deva. From Bollywood, I have heard of SRK, Amitabh Bachchan and Preity Zinta.”
