All decks cleared for Metro

Recently we wrote about Metro, which is based on the chain-snatching rampant in the city. It was denied a censorship certificate by the regional as well as revising committee (Mumbai) members of the Censor Board.

The movie, directed by Anandha Krishnan, features Bobby Simha in a role with negative shades after Jigarthanda and Masala Padam. Sirish Saravanan is the lead protagonist.

The latest is that, the filmmakers’ plea with censors has worked in their favour, and all issues have been sorted out! Confirming the news to us the publicist of the movie said, “Metro has been awarded an ‘A’ Certification after the necessary changes were made, and the film will hit the screens soon.”
