Actor Sibiraj, who is currently shooting for Sathya, the Tamil remake of Telugu super-hit film Kshanam is also waiting for the release of Kattapava Kaanum, which has a fish playing a pivotal role. Now, the Naaigal Jaakirathai actor has signed an action thriller, helmed by debutant director Vinod.

Speaking to DC, Vinod says, “The yet-to-be-titled movie is set in three locations, namely Chennai, Pollachi and Kashmir. It is based on a social issue and Sibiraj will be portrayed in a unique and different shade. He will be given an image make-over for the project and we are excited to start the project from the second week of March.”

The makers also add that the casting process is underway, while the technicians have been finalised already. “We are looking for a suitable heroine as she would have a huge scope to perform in the flick. Her character will travel with the hero throughout the movie,” he shares. Vinod, who did the pre-production work for nearly 10 months, had also worked as an assistant in a French mini-series titled Rani, directed by Arnaud Selignac. He has also worked as an associate of director VZ Dhorai.
