Vijay croons for ARR for first time

Though AR Rahman has composed music for Vijay films in the past like Udhaya, ATM, Sarkar and Mersal, the latter has never sung a song in the former’s composition. Thalapathy has said that he avoided crooning for ARR, as it would be very difficult for him to reach high notes. Finally, Vijay has rendered a peppy number Verithanam’for his forthcoming flick Bigil.
