A menacing villain

“Just like Shah Rukh Khan was hailed for his villainy act in Darr, my brother Ramesh will be noticed for his menacing antagonist role in his upcoming film Miratchi,” says actor Jiiva.

He was speaking at the audio launch of the film which features Jithan Ramesh in an altogether new avatar.

 The Seeru actor added, “No one wants to give an unsuccessful film. Everybody is working hard and his/her talents will be out one day. I am confident that Miratchi will bring to the fore a different style of Ramesh. When I did Raam in the early stages of my career, I was not too sure whether I was playing a hero or an anti-hero. It is very difficult to satisfy Tamil audiences these days. However, Miratchi will do the trick as I was impressed with its sneak peek.”

Ramesh said “Director Krishna approached me and offered the hero role in the film. But I was fascinated by the villain role and opted to play the baddie.”

Directed by M.V. Krishna, the film has two hot girls, the Bollywood actress Shraddha Das and Bengali heroine Ena Saha, as the leading ladies.

The film is a thriller based on a scandalous incident that took place in Goa. Popular Telugu composer Manthra Anand does the music direction.
