Niharika back in Tamil

Niharika Konidela, who made her Tamil debut with a Vijay Sethupathi film, Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, an average grosser, has been roped in for a ‘dramedy’ with Ashok Selvan in the lead. Swathini, a former assistant of ace director Suseenthiran, debuts as the filmmaker.

Selvakumar of Kenanya Films, who bankrolls the project, says, “Swathini’s script has a blend of comedy, love, and emotions and seemed perfect for a family entertainer.

She also took a year’s time to rework the script and add more family values and substantial characterisations. We have begun the work with a composing session by music director Leon James.”
