Bhumika back in Tamil

Bhumika Chawla who was last seen in Samantha’s U Turn returns to Tamil with an Udhayanidhi starrer Kannai Nambathey. While Aathmika will be seen as the heroine, Bhumika essays a crucial character, which has a bearing to the story, says its director Mu Maran.

Said to be an edge-of-the seat thriller, Maran says that he could think of only Udhay for the lead protagonist role in Kannai Namnathey. “There’s a lot of emotional connect as well,” the director adds.

Actor Satish has also been brought on board. Sam CS is composing the music and Sridhar of Pariyerum Perumal fame does the cinematography. Meanwhile, Bhumika is awaiting the release of Kolaiyudhir Kaalam.
