A promise, fulfilled
The Nadigar Sangam got 36 students children of Sangam members seats in two well-known universities, free of cost.
As a part their manifesto during the election of the South Indian Artistes Association — more popularly known as Nadigar Sangam — the team led by Nasser and Vishal had promised that they would support the children of association members for higher education.
They have just fulfilled their promise by getting 36 students, children of Sangam members, seats in their favourite subjects in two well-known universities in the city to pursue their education free of cost.
Speaking on the occasion, Nasser said, “We are very happy that we could get you admission in your preferred subjects. In return, you should make your parents, the Sangam, and the universities which offered you free education proud by achieving in your respective fields, and passing with flying colours.”
