Chiru's next is a bilingual?
The period drama is based on the life and times of Telugu freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
After a stellar comeback with Khaidi No. 150 (remake of Kaththi) earlier this year, actor Chiranjeevi has decided to follow it up with an interesting film on the life and times of Telugu freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Apparently, the makers are considering making the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, while a Hindi release is also a possibility.
“Discussions are going on now. Since it is the story of a freedom fighter who hasn’t been written about a great deal, the makers felt it would be a great story to tell. His legacy has remained within the Telugu people and the idea is to take it to a larger audience,” shares a source.
Presently, the team is in pre-production. The makers are also apparently working on the finer details of making the film in another language. Produced by Ram Charan, the film will be directed by Surender Reddy.
