Sunaina in a quirky role

The talented actress Sunaina, who started off in a big way and did films with heroes like Vishal, Nakul, Arulnidhi and Vishnu Vishal, went into oblivion later. She has a few films like Sillu Karuppatti in hand. Since web series is the order of the day, the Kadhalil Vinzhundhen actress started accepting them too.

After a gap she has now been roped in for comedian Yogi Babu’s film titled Trip. She will be seen opposite newcomer Praveen. Touted to be a dark sci-fi comedy, the film is directed by Dennis, a former assistant of Sam Anton. The movie also has yet another humour actor Karunakaran playing a crucial role.

Ask Sunaina as to what made her accept a film with a rank newcomer and she says, “There’s nothing called a new or well established actor. End of the day, it’s about how well an artiste gives life to the roles offered to them. During the rehearsals, I could see that Praveen has great potential of establishing himself as a prominent actor with his unique skills.”

She adds, “Moreover, the script was fascinating and the way Dennis narrated it was interesting.” Dennis was quick to add, “The role played by Sunaina is a challenging one. Though a few heroines turned down the offer, Sunaina gave an instant nod understanding the unique value of this script and depth of her role. I am confident it would definitely one of her significant films.”
