Khushbu has been only doing blink-and-miss roles recently  and is quite busy with her reality shows on television. However, after nearly seven years, the Vetri Vizha actress is back on screen in James Vasanthan’s Oh Andha Naatkal, in which she acts with Radhika Sarathkumar, Suhasini Maniratnam and Urvashi.
Speaking to DC, Khushbu says, “Oh Andha Naatkal is a feel-good and breezy film about four friends. We have just completed a schedule in Australia and will resume shoot from December in Chennai.”

Explaining why she agreed to be part of this film, she says, “It is mainly the script that attracted me. I was not offered the usual akka and anni characters, and it is a solid role. Also, I get to spend quality time with my friends from a long time back.”

The actress doesn’t want people to call Oh Andha Naatkal as her ‘comeback film’ thoiugh — “I wouldn’t call it a comeback film like others put it. But it also doesn’t mean I am going to sign films continuously.”

But Khushbu does get nostalgic when she talks about her best friends with whom she is acting — “In my debut film in 1988, I acted with Suhasini for Dharmathin Thalaivan. It took decades for both of us to come together for a film.
So this is definitely worth cherishing.”
