Jomon to team up with Dhanush

The film, which has Dhanush in the lead role, will start rolling from March 14 at Chennai.

Jomon T John, who has recently bagged the Kerala state award for best cinematographer for Charlie and Ennu Ninte Moideen, is all set to crank the camera for a Goutham Menon film. The film, which has Dhanush in the lead role, will start rolling from March 14 at Chennai.

When quizzed about the film, Jomon says, “It will be a romantic-thriller. Now I am in Chennai, where we are planning to can the first schedule. Later we will move to Mumbai, which is also a major location.”

Megha Akash, who has acted along with Kalidas Jayaram in Oru Pakka Kathai, will be the heroine in Goutham’s yet-to-be-titled film. Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Jacobinte Swargarajyam will be Jomon’s next film to hit the screens. Earlier it was touted that Goutham will essay an important role in Jacobinte Swargarajyam. “Though he was cast for a role, owing to the Chennai floods, he could not join the sets,” says Jomon, adding, “It was later I got a call from Goutham sir’s office regarding this offer.”
