Ace actress Rohini known for her versatility will be seen as a deaf mute character who works in Amma Unavagam (former CM Jayalalithaa’s initiative where you get subsidised food at low prices) in director Saran’s Market Raja MBBS. Our sources say that she essays the mother of lead heroine Kavya Thapar while Radhikaa plays a female don who is the mom of male protagonist Arav in the title role. Radhikaa’s first look posters in which she was seen smoking a cigar had created a buzz.

The film set in North Chennai has an ensemble cast of Nasser, Sayaji Shinde, Pradeep Rawat, Yogi Babu, Chaams, Prabhakar of Baahubali fame and Devadarshini. Simon King, who recieved critical acclaim for his recent score in Kolaigaran, composes the music.
