The much-anticipated 50th film of Vijay Sethupathi has been officially titled Maharaja. The film, in collaboration with Nithilan Swaminathan of Kurangu Bommai fame, which began production earlier this year, has now been wrapped up and post-production is currently in full swing. Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will be seen as the antagonist in the movie.

In an earlier interview with DC, Nithilan shared insights into what audiences can expect from Vijay Sethupathi’s character in Maharaja. He said, “I was particular that Vijay should have the lead role. His character is something he hasn’t explored before. He will be sporting a new look in Maharaja.” The cast includes Natty, Mamta Mohandas, Abhirami, Arul Doss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Bharathiraja and Vinod Sagar.
