Recently, we had reported that Daniel has been roped in to play the antagonist in Arvind Swami’s next, titled Vanangamudi, directed by Selvah. However, the actor has backed out of the project due to date issues. Speaking to DC, Daniel says, “Initially, when I was approached for the movie, they said my portions would be shot in April. But, they had some change in their shooting plans and wanted my dates for the immediate schedule. Since I am busy with a couple of projects I couldn’t allot the dates. So, I did not have any choice but to opt out of the project.” Currently, the team is looking for a suitable replacement for Daniel Balaji.
The actor is awaiting the release of Vidhi Madhi Ultaa starring Rameez and Janani Iyer along with Mayavan featuring Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi in the titular roles. The Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada actor will start shooting for Vada Chennai from March.
