Jyotika’s next is Ponmagal Vandhal

Suriya announced his next production venture titled Ponmagal Vandhal, with his wife Jyotika in the lead. Interestingly, the film produced in 2D Entertainment and which went on floors on Monday has three ace filmmakers turned actors — Bhagyaraj and his protégés Pandiarajan and Parthiban — in key characters. Directed by debutant JJ Fredrick, the family entertainer has veteran Pratap Pothen also in supporting role.

While ace Ramji is behind the camera, Govind Vasantha of 96 fame composes the music. Meanwhile, Jo is busy with a Jeethu Joseph flick which has her brother-in-law Karthi sharing screen space.
