Arulnithi's next with Karu Palaniappan
The duo is teaming up for a political satire.
Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu has a penchant for picking content-oriented scripts and most of his projects have earned a name for himself in the industry. His portrayal of a deaf and mute character in Radha Mohan’s Brindavanam received appreciation from audiences and critics alike.
The actor is now looking forward to the release of his upcoming flick Iravukku Aayiram Kangal. After wrapping up the shoot of IAK, the actor has signed his next project with director Karu Palaniappan. Speaking to DC, Arulnithi says, “Karu Palaniappan and I were in talks for months and we felt this is the right time to collaborate. This is a political satire flick which will go on floors on September 20. Like my earlier films, this will be a different genre and the screenplay impressed me very much.”
Produced by Dilli Babu of Axess Film Factory, the team is now looking to finalise the cast and crew. While it is speculated that Arulnithi will don the role of a politician, he stated that he is not at the liberty to reveal anything about his character right now. A first-look poster of the film is expected to be out sometime next week. Watch out for more information.
