Shrinivas Kaviinayam from the short film circuit, who debuts with a ghost horror thriller film Pei Pasi, speaks to us as how different is the film from others belonging to the same genre, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s extraordinary BGM and more.

“The entire film unfolds inside a departmental store. It is a challenging task and I have achieved it through my screenplay. One has to visit a departmental store during non-working hours to feel the ‘fear factor’. So, the whole idea for the film originated from there and Pei Pasi was the unanimous title chosen by our team which went well with the concept,” Shrinivas tells DC.

Yet another high point he considers is Yuvan’s captivating music. “There are no songs in the film except a promo number. But all said and done, Yuvan’s BGM is terrific and one of its kind (smiles).”

While Hari Krishna Bhaskar and Amritha play the main lead, Vibin and Namitha (an IIT graduate) will be seen in key roles. Daniel, Bhagavathy Perumal and Karunakaran form the supporting roles.
