Vijay Sethupathi is on such a signing spree that it appears the actor, who topped the chart in 2018 with the maximum number of releases, will continue his streak this year as well.  The first look and title of his third collaboration with director Arun Kumar, tilted Sindhubaadh, was released on his birthday on January 16.

The actor announced yet another movie with debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth, a former assistant of national award winning filmmaker Jananathan. This yet-to-be-named movie touches upon an international issue and is said to be a musical love story. Sources say that Sethu, always game for experimenting with his on-screen characters, essays a violinist in the film, although the director maintains that he plays a musician.

Says Roghanth, “The movie is being shot in exotic locations including Munnar, Kodaikanal, Ooty, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, scheduled to start early March this year. We are erecting a 150-year-old giant Church set where major portions are being shot.  Nivas K Prasanna scores the music, while Mahesh Muthuswamy cranks the camera.” The rest of the cast will be announced soon, says the maker Essaki Durai of Chandaraa Arts.
