Amala Paul is thrilled about her inclusion in award-winning filmmaker Blessy’s upcoming film Aadujeevitham as the lead lady Sainu. The film, which has Prithviraj in the lead, is an adaptation of ace writer Benyamin’s award winning novel of the same name. Ever since the director announced the film, the project has been plagued with rumours about it having been shelved and that Prithivi did not have two years of his time to invest in it. It appears now that all is well with the project, which is going on floors soon.

Excited about her intense role, Amala said, “Happy and honoured to be part of National Award winning director Blessy’s Aadujeevitham as Sainu, a pain every Malayali has felt through Benyamin’s classic novel. An amazing screenplay of the classic, which is set to be a visual spectacle in 3D! Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran who is giving the film 2 years of his life and going through hardships to set in the spirit of Najeeb, the lead protagonist.”

The project will also mark the return of Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman to Malayalam films after 25 years. Yet another Oscar winner, Resul Pookutty, has joined the team as sound engineer. Ace lens man KU Mohanan is behind the camera.  When asked about his comeback to Malayalam cinema, Rahman had been quoted as saying “I’m working with director Blessy for Aadujeevitham. It is a beautiful story.” Remarking about the top-notchers collaborating for the project Amala said, “This gathering of masters is going to make waves in world cinema.”
