RK Suresh has got his hands full
The film is directed by M Vijay Pandi.
The rustic look and the intimidating mustache has done a lot of good for RK Suresh, who is now being flooded with a number of rural scripts.
Having already been acting in an array of films including Billa Pandi, Ippadai Vellum, and Vikram’s Sketch, the actor-producer has signed another film titled Thennattan, in which he will play the lead protagonist. The posters of the film depict a rugged looking Suresh with a makeover. “The good thing is that in all the films that I am currently doing, I appear in different getups. Numerous rural scripts keep coming my way. The stories are like the ones actor Murali and Vijaykanth used to act in back then, and I feel very happy when filmmakers feel I am fit for these roles,” he says.
Shedding more light on Thennattan, he says, “The film is set in the backdrop of farming and jallikattu. It explores the life of the villagers and the bulls post jallikattu events.”
The film is directed by M Vijay Pandi. “He has worked in the industry for about 15 to 20 years and has great experience in handling the rural scripts. So, I am looking forward to working with him in the film,” RK Suresh says.
The makers are yet to decide the rest of the cast in the film and are in talks with some leading heroines including Tanya Ravichandran who is also acting in Vijay Sethupathi’s Karuppan.
