Ilayaraja sends SPB legal notice for singing his songs sans permission

Mumbai: Veteran Singer SP Balasubramanyam has revealed that legendary composer Ilayaraja has served him a notice, for his singing his songs sans permission on live concerts. The actor-singer revealed that he alongside KS Chithra and his son Charan along with the organisers of his live show in the US have all been served notices by attorneys representing Raja.
SPB took to his Facebook feed to put further light into the legality and proceedings.
SPB also revealed that he has sung Rajsa songs on earlier concerts but never faced a problem as this.
The duo have collaborated on innumerable hits which have gone on to have a cult following of their own.
Ilayaraja is yet to comment on the controversy.
