Mishap on the sets of Adhaaru Udhaaru

Recently, the climax shoot of Vijay Karthik’s upcoming flick, Adhaaru Udhaaru, directed by Ram Sanjay, was shot in a huge set in  Chennai. Here, he was required to take on 20 goons.

Since the scene involved jumping from a height of 120 feet, stunt choreographer Thavasi suggested that a body double be used for the risky portions. Reportedly, Vijay insisted that he does it without a substitute.

Unfortunately, Vijay slipped from the terrace of the building and fell on the ground, unconscious. The crew panicked and rushed him to a nearby hospital immediately. Doctors who examined him said that he had fainted because of the impact and had fractured one of his legs, and bruised his body. He has been advised rest for two weeks. The actor is currently working in several films including Vincent Selva’s Araathu and a bilingual film, Shivani.
