Vivek and Monica team up for a romantic flick
Directed by Nageswaran, model-turned-actor Vivek Raj, whom we saw in films like Nee Enna Maayam Seithai and Perazhagi ISO, essays the male lead.
Monica Chinnikotla, who was hailed for her performance in the critically acclaimed Thozhar Venkadesan, has bagged yet another solid role in Thottu Vidum Dhooram. Directed by Nageswaran, model-turned-actor Vivek Raj, whom we saw in films like Nee Enna Maayam Seithai and Perazhagi ISO, essays the male lead.
Talking to DC, Nageswaran says, “Romance is an evergreen subject for any filmmaker. TVD is a breezy romance with a twist. It is about a bunch of girls who visit a rural area as part of their NSS camp. Priya, played by Monica, happens to meet Suresh (Vivek), a local do-gooder, and falls in love with him. He reciprocates. However, they separate due to circumstances and Suresh has nothing except her Chennai address. The rest of the emotion-filled film is about how he traces his lover in the vast city. I have given a realistic narration without making it melodramatic.” Seetha, Livingston, Singampuli and Balasaravanan play supporting roles.
