On travails of today’s youngsters

Eswar, who did Inaya Thalaimurai earlier, has come out with his second film titled Thedu, which talks about the travails of today’s youngsters. Sanjay, seen in baddie roles thus far, is being elevated as a hero. Meghna of Urudhi Kol fame essays his pair.

“Thedu revolves around a drunkard, another obsessed with selfies and a lover couple. The repercussions they face and how they overcome it forms the crux. I have made the film in an entertaining manner and though there is a message, it is not dealt with in a preachy manner, “ says Eswar. Sivakasi Murugesan, who has acted in a few movies, turns producer with Thedu and also does the role of the antagonist.
