Vishal's fan club complains against websites

Chennai: Actor Vishal’s fan club on Wednesday approached the Chennai city police seeking a probe into news items regarding the star cricket match, organised by Nadigar Sangam on Sunday, appearing on certain Tamil websites.

“Those websites had attributed wrong quotes of Vishal annan. He had never said such things. We want the police to take action those responsible for such reports,” said one of the office bearers of the fan club on Wednesday.

Vishal is the general secretary of Nadigar Sangam and the star cricket match was organised to mobilise money to construct a building for the Sangam. A poor turnout at the MAC stadium, Chepauk on that day had generated sharp criticism against the Nadigar Sangam.
