Arvind Swami was my first crush: Vidya Pradeep
It may be recalled that Vidya was also part of Vijay’s earlier flick Saivam.
Actress Vidya Pradeep, who was last seen as a cop in Thadam, is the latest addition in Vijay’s Thalaivi, the biopic of the late J. Jayalalithaa, actress and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Vidya will reportedly appear in the flashback scenes with Arvind Swami, who plays the role of the late legendary actor-politician M.G. Ramachandran, though it is not clear which segment of MGR’s life her character is associated with.
Apparently, Vidya took to Facebook to post a picture of herself with Swami on the sets of Thalaivi and said, “With MGR Arvind Swami Sir for Thalaivi. Sharing screen space with him was a dream come true because he was my first crush during my school days. Grateful to my Director Vijay Sir.”(Sic).
It may be recalled that Vidya was also part of Vijay’s earlier flick Saivam.
While Kangana Ranaut will essay Jayalalithaa’s role, Prakash Raj has been roped in to play Kalaingnar Karunanidhi.
