Bharath's new film given A' certificate
The actor will sport a new look for his role of a college boy in his next titled Kadaisi Bench Karthi.
Bharath is happy that his recent film Ennodu Vilayadu, where he played the role of a horse-race-betting-addict, is doing well at the BO. The actor will sport a new look for his role of a college boy in his next titled Kadaisi Bench Karthi.
The movie is directed by Ravi Bhargavan, who has earlier wielded the megaphone for films like Oru Kadhal Seiveer and Thiru Ranga besides couple of Telugu movies.
Popular Punjabi model-turned- actress Ruhani Sharma, who is also well-known in the music circuit, has been roped in to play his romantic interest. T’town girl Angana Roy, will also be seen as one of Bharath’s pair. Talking about his film Bhargavan says, “After a long time, Tamil audiences are in for a treat with a campus entertainer. It’s a youthful romantic story and Bharath plays a college student. You will get to see a fresh and lively Bharath in the movie.”
The film deals with how smart phones jeopardise youngsters in relationships. Ask Bhargavan on why the film has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board, he says, “The A certificate was given because of KBK’s content. This a college subject, where students, especially boys use slang words. Censor Board members wanted me to remove certain dialogues, as well as, mute many words so they could award me a ‘U’ certificate. But, I didn’t budge on them, since it would spoil the essence of the story. I vouch there are no sleazy scenes and the film has been aesthetically shot.”
