Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam to share stage with Christopher Nolan
The event is being held at the Tata Theatre in Mumbai in end March.
Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan had revealed on his blog in January that acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan would be visiting India to host the 'Reframing the Future of Film', an event to emphasise the need to preserve celluloid film in this digital era.
The event is being held at the Tata Theatre in Mumbai in end March. The big news now is our own K'town personalities in ace director Mani Ratnam and actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan would be part of an interactive session with Nolan.
The who's who of Indian cinema, including Big B, Aamir Khan, SRK, Shyam Benegal, Santhosh Sivan, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, are attending the high profile event. Also, a special 70mm Imax screening of Chris Nolan's Academy Award-winning film Dunkirk is to be projected for the niche gathering.
Meanwhile, we hear that Ulaganayagan who made his small screen debut with the Bigg Boss reality show and created a huge buzz, will be helming the ‘Season 2’ of the show as well.
