Lockdown sparks experiments in tinsel town with veterans joining hands
This seems to be a unique working business model
Vijay Sethupathi, Parthiban and Sathyaraj join hands for a new initiative a film executed by veterans R.B. Choudary, Tirupur Subramaniam, Pyramid Natrajan and K.S. Ravikumar in a unique manner.
The main cast and lead technicians will get no remuneration beforehand the work will be done on a profit-sharing basis.
Revealing the details, Subramaniam said, “K.S Ravikumar, known for meticulous planning and a quick working style, has promised to wrap up the shoot in 30 days. And the total budget (excluding the salaries of director and actors) is evaluated to be around '2 crores. This production cost will be split as 200 shares among film industry members. If no investors come forward, Choudary and I will share this money.”
While VSP and Parthiban will play significant cameos, Sathyaraj will essay the protagonist. Other members of the casting and technical crew are being worked out.
Work on the movie will begin once the government permits shoots. It will be released on OFT (Only For Theatres). After a hundred days, the makers will release it on OTT and TV channels.
