The actor has now officially joined the crew of the upcoming untitled film
It was reported earlier that ace comedian Vadivelu is in talks for director Ram Bala’s film with GV Prakash. The actor has now officially joined the crew of the upcoming untitled film. In a candid chat, Ram Bala reveals the role the comedian will be playing in the movie.
“It is great to have a veteran like Vadivelu sir in the movie. He gives many inputs. He also dives deep into the script and understands my intentions,” he starts.
Talking about the role, the Dhilluku Dhuddu director says, “He will play a villain of sorts, but in a hilarious way. He will be pitted against GV and will be a competitor in wooing the heroine. What happens to these three characters forms the crux of the film.”
When asked who will be playing the leading lady, he responds, “Bringing Vadivelu sir onboard is just one of the surprises we have revealed. We will be announcing the next surprise very soon!”
He also spoke about the possible film titles — “Many film titles are inspired from the dialogues of Vadivelu sir. We are also thinking on the same lines and will come up with a catchy and hilarious title.” The crew is currently discussing the script of the film and will start shooting by December.
