Parthiban’s OSS 7 enters Asia, India record books
This is a special moment for me and at the same time, I feel a little low for a reason: Bhagyaraj.
“The attention of entire world has now turned towards Tamil film industry through Parthiban’s Oththa Seruppu Size 7. The industry hasn’t yet recognised his immense talents and potentials,” remarked ace filmmaker Bharathiraja after watching the film which has entered Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for a single person writing, directing, acting and producing a film. Raja added, “His performance in the film is so astounding that we forget that it’s a solo act movie with a running length of 1 hr 45 minutes. Be his writing or thinking or acting, everything is different and unique.”
Parthiban’s mentor K Bhagyaraj said, “This is a special moment for me and at the same time, I feel a little low for a reason. Both Parthiban and my assistant Pandiarajan were recipients of national and international recognition, but being called as their ‘Guru’, I haven’t achieved anything. But I consider their victory as mine.” Parthiban’s entire family was present at the screening of OSS 7.
