Jazz Cinemas to Thala 57's rescue?
It seems like the next victim of such an unfortunate phenomenon is Ajith's tentatively-tiled film AK 57.
When a film bombs at the box office, the producer of the particular film faces all sorts of problems for his subsequent films from the distributors, and this is not a new trend in Kodambakkam. Most of the actors, even including Rajinikanth, have faced similar situations.
It seems like the next victim of such an unfortunate phenomenon is Ajith’s tentatively-tiled film AK 57. Sathya Jyothi Thyagarajan, the producer of the flick, bankrolled Thodari earlier, and it turned out to be a huge failure at the box office.
Distributors wanted Thyagarajan to adjust the losses through Ajith’s movie! But thanks to Jazz Cinemas who have now stepped in and reportedly bought the film for a whopping price, it is said that the detractors will not dare to create any more troubles for the film.
Yet another buzz is that Ajith who prefers to work with proven directors and banners has given his call sheet once again to Sathya Jyothi Films, after he was impressed with their professionalism and approach of the famed banner.
We also hear that Ajith who was busy shooting for the film with director Siva in Bulgaria, has taken a break and is back in Chennai to celebrate Christmas with his family.
