Suniel Shetty in Tamil film after 18 years
It is learnt he will be seen as the main villain, a stylish corporate honcho in the movie directed by AR Murugadoss.
The cast of Rajinikanth's Darbar is getting bigger by the day. After Prateik Babbar, another Bollywood actor — Dalip Tahil — was roped in for the high-octane cop drama. If close sources are to be believed, popular B’town actor Suniel Shetty who had acted in late Jeeva's film 12 B back in 2001, returns to Tamil after 18 years with Darbar.
It is learnt he will be seen as the main villain, a stylish corporate honcho in the movie directed by AR Murugadoss. Prateik Babbar is said to play his brother in the film. Suniel might join the sets of Darbar in Mumbai in the next schedule, which begins on May 29.
The film has music by Anirudh Ravichandran and this will be his second consecutive film with Superstar after Petta. Though SP Balasubramaniam, Rajini’s lucky mascot for his intro songs rendered just two lines in Petta (Marana Mass), the latest update is that the ace singer will be crooning the full opening number in the Darbar album.
