Ranjith's PP' breezes past Censors

Filmmaker Pa Ranjith is on cloud nine! His maiden production, Pariyerum Perumal directed by Maari Selvaraj, has been lauded by members of the Censor Board for its content and awarded a “U” Certificate without any cuts and only two small mutes.

The members of the Board are said to have remarked, “It is a commercial but good film that can be enjoyed by family audiences.  We didn’t have any scope to make any cuts.” Set in Tirunelveli, with Kathir and Anandhi playing the lead pair, PP is scheduled for release on September 28.
