A busy year ahead for Kathir!
The actor is busy with a couple of projects and is eagerly awaiting the release of Sigai as he essays the role of a woman in the film.
Recently, Kathir’s upcoming film Sigai received accolades at the All Lights India International Film Festival at Hyderabad. The actor is busy with a couple of projects and is eagerly awaiting the release of Sigai as he essays the role of a woman in the film.
Rumours that the actor has been approached to play the lead role in debutant Maari’s direction, have been doing the rounds. This untitled film is produced by Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Production. Kathir says, “Talks are on and I am still waiting for a confirmation from the production side.”
Kathir is currently busy shooting for Chathru, directed by Naaven (a former associate of director Radha Mohan). “I play a cop in this family-based action entertainer. The film will be on the lines of Naan Mahaan Alla. We are shooting Chathru in Chennai, Hyderabad, Puducherry and Kerala,” he adds.
Actress Srushti Dange, music director Amresh (Jayachitra’s son), and cinematographer Mahesh Muthusamy are part of the film.
