Shakthi Scott, who earlier wielded the megaphone for Adhisiya Ulagam — a film that combined live action with animation and was the first 3D movie to feature dinosaurs — is all geared up with his next Jaikkapovadhu Yaaru. JY is an attempt to enter the Guinness Book of Records as Scott has handled all the 29 crafts in the movie, including playing the lead in the film which is about the illegal late night car and bike races.

"I am making this movie in a bid to enter the Guinness Book of Records. I have taken the onus of multiple departments like story, screenplay, dialogue, editing, cinematography, music, lyrics, art and visual effects, besides directing. Earlier in 2012, Jackie Chan entered the Guinness book by handling 15 major creative departments for the film Zodiac. Now, I have tried my hand in 29 crafts in JY. I am confident of entering Guinness," Scott tells DC.

He adds, "We have been hearing about the impromptu dangerous car and bike races (which are banned by the government) being organised on deserted highways, leading to fatal accidents. I have dealt with the serious issue in a lighter vein in my film".

Vandana is essaying Scott's pair and others in the cast include Pandiarajan, Chatanya, 'Powerstar' Srinivasan and Koti.
