Bhavatharini roped in for an emotional film

The film features Abhi Saravanan, who was recently dragged into controversy and Venba of Palli Paruvatthile fame in the lead.

After a long gap, Ilayaraja’s daughter and composer Bhavatharini has been roped in as the music composer for a movie titled Maayanadhi. Directed by Ashok Thyagarajan, the film features Abhi Saravanan, who was recently dragged into controversy and Venba of Palli Paruvatthile fame in the lead.

“The movie revolves around a dad who dots on his daughter, the girl who is determined to become a doctor and a carefree boy who has no goals in life except falling in love.  Whether the girl achieves her aim despite distracted by romance forms the crux,” the director reveals.

Besides scoring music, Bhavatharini has also rendered a song in the film.  Aadukalam Naren, Appukutti and Tamizh Venkat form rest of supporting cast. Srinivasan Devamsam is cranking the camera.
