We still remember the bubbly college girl that Aishwarya Dutta played in her debut movie Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum. Even though the actress has been part of films like Paayum Puli and Aaruthu Sinam since then, she is still eagerly working towards creating a name for herself in the industry.

Speaking to DC, Aishwarya says, “After my debut film, there was a lot of politics in the industry that sort of withheld my progress. As time went by, I understood that it is something everybody faces and I shunned all negative forces. I was always in the limelight, but I didn’t get to be in the position I intended to be in. I don’t believe in nepotism, so I have to struggle and work hard to earn a name in the industry.”

The actress is awaiting the release of the Vikram Prabhu-Manjima starrer Sathriyan, directed by SR Prabhakaran. “I play a spirited girl and am paired opposite Kavin in the movie. It was great working with an amazing team led by SR Prabhakaran sir. We shot our portions in Tiruchy and Chennai. Sathriyan is one project that is close to my heart,” she explains.

Aishwarya is also part of Maraindhuirunthu Paarkum Marumam Enna, which is ready for release. “I have signed three more films and hopefully, I’d have a couple of releases this year. The audiences have been really kind to me which motivates me to do more projects,” she reveals.
