New baddie on the block
Madhuraj's kitty is currently full with films like director Vijay Mohan's Karuppaadu, a film with Siddharth.
Producer-turned-actor Madhuraj, who’s played a villain in a few films after sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in Karuppan, reveals that he considers the late actor Raghuvaran to be his role model. “Though I am playing different types of characters in my upcoming films, I am keen on playing baddies. There’s a dearth of Tamil-speaking villains in K-town; most of them are either imported from Mumbai or Andhra,” he says, adding, “I don’t want to be a loud villain, I want to follow Raghuvaran sir’s style. He would ooze a menacing attitude and convey emotions through his eyes and voice modulation.”
Madhuraj’s kitty is currently full with films like director Vijay Mohan’s Karuppaadu, a film with Siddharth, director Balakrishnan’s Kathayutham, and a film with director GNR Kumaravelan.
