Decked in traditional Kasavu attire, the couple celebrated their first Onam alongside their twins, Uyir and Ulag
Hyderabad: Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are joyfully marking their inaugural Onam celebration with their twins, Uyir and Ulag. Through his Instagram account, Vignesh Shivan provided a glimpse into their Onam festivities, sharing a series of heartwarming photos featuring Nayanthara and their children.
In one Instagram post, Vignesh Shivan captured a tender moment between himself and Nayanthara as they exchanged affectionate glances. He captioned it, "In our very simple, beautiful life! A beautiful, simple moment that feels special. ONAM festivities begin here with my Uyirs & Ulagamsss. Wishing everyone in advance a very happy ONAM."
Decked in traditional Kasavu attire, the couple celebrated their first Onam alongside their twins, Uyir and Ulag. Vignesh Shivan was the one to share these cherished moments, writing, "First Onam with my Uyir & Ulagam #GodBless. As the festival starts early here, wishing everyone in advance a very happy Onam."
The post garnered numerous comments, including one playful reference to a scene from the film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Vignesh Shivan and starring Nayanthara. Referring to a song from the movie, a user commented, "Could be the original scene of 'naan pizhai.'" "Naan Pizhai" is a song from the film, which also featured Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, marking Vignesh Shivan's second collaboration with Nayanthara after Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
Vignesh Shivan had thoughtfully chosen the names Uyir and Ulag for their twins, and he shared the significance behind these names, stating, "#Uyir RudroNeel N Shivan. #Ulag Daiwik N Shivan. N stands for the best mother in the world, #Nayanthara. We are happy & proud to introduce our babies’ names :) our blessings and happiness. #Blessed."
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who found love while working on Vignesh's second directorial venture, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, tied the knot last year. Despite making his entry into the Tamil cinema scene with Poda Podi, starring Silambarasan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan was the film that propelled Vignesh Shivan to stardom.
