Sayyeshaa bags role in biggest film of Suriya's career
This film marks Suriya's third collaboration with director KV Anand after Ayan and Maattran.
After teaming up with Karthi in Kadai Kutty Singam, the ravishing Sayyeshaa Saigal has been paired opposite his brother Suriya in a film tentatively titled Suriya 37, which went on floors in London recently.
This film marks Suriya’s third collaboration with director KV Anand after Ayan and Maattran. It has an ensemble cast that features Mohanlal, Allu Sirish, Samudhrakani, and Boman Irani, who is making his K-town debut. Harris Jayaraj will create music for the film.
Sayyeshaa recently tweeted, “Very happy to announce my next film opposite the dynamite @Suriya_offl sir being directed by the brilliant @anavenkat sir! It’s an honour to be able to share screen space with @Mohanlal sir! @AlluSirish see you soon in London! @Jharrisjayaraj. Need your love and blessings (sic).”
When we caught up with her at a wedding, Sayyeshaa was unwilling to reveal any details about her character in the film. All she said was, “It’s an interesting meaty role and I’m looking forward to it’.”
This is touted to be the biggest project in Suriya’s career. It will be shot in many locations including New York, Brazil, England, Hyderabad and New Delhi. —AS
