Khushbu returns to Telugu
The latest addition to the cast is Khushbu, who will start shooting from February.
Actress Khushbu, who is presently shooting for James Vasanthan’s Oh Andha Naatkal announced that she is getting back to Telugu films after nine years.
Director Trivikram Srinivas, who helmed the super-hit Telugu film, Attarintiki Daredi starring Pawan Kalyan and Samantha — is once again teaming up with the hero for a family drama. Keerthy Suresh will be Pawan Kalyan’s pair in this film.
The latest addition to the cast is Khushbu, who will start shooting from February. “I am excited to join the team as I have never acted with Pawan Kalyan so far. Trivikram Srinivas came to Chennai to narrate the story — and within 10 minutes I was convinced. I play a meaty role and if I get into details, I am afraid I would give away the plot of the story. It was so nice of Trivikram to come all the way to Chennai for a narration,” Khushbu starts off the conversation.
When asked why it took so long for her to get back to acting, she says, “It is not that I haven’t been getting offers in Tamil and Telugu. Due to my political commitment, it was difficult for me to sign films. Now, that I did, I want to give my best shot. I am fluent in Telugu, and I will be dubbing for myself in the new film.”
