Aarudhra has a huge message: Pa Vijay
The film directed by Pa Vijay has SA Chandrashekar in a prominent role.
Popular lyricist-turned-hero Pa. Vijay is all geared up with his second directorial venture Aarudhra, which is an emotional crime thriller. His debut attempt Strawberry, a horror film with an important message was received decently.
Talking about the film, Vijay said, “I play the lead role Sivamalai, an employee of a company which sells artifacts. SA Chandrashekar sir essays the role of my dad, which has a new dimension. Bhagyaraj and Naan Kadavul Rajhendran appear as investigating officers.”
The movie has three heroines as the female leads — Mumbai model Dashitha, Kolkata girl Mehali, and Soni from Hyderabad — “Though there are three heroines, there’s no romantic scenes,” Vijay quips.
Explaining more, he said, “I wrote the script after I came across few unusual incidents. I studied further about their backdrop and decided to wield the megaphone myself. Like how Strawberry imparted a huge relevant message, Aarudhra will also have one for the society.” Actor Vignesh is back in screen after a long hiatus in a key character.
