Vishal and Tamannah film to go on floors soon
The duo came together for Kaththi Sandai directed by Suraaj, which was a lacklustre draw.
Actor Vishal, who has wrapped up Ayogya where he plays a cop, will be joining hands with Sundar C for the third time after Aambala and Madha Gaja Raja (yet to be released) for a new movie. The film, likely to go on floors next month, has Tamannah romancing Vishal for the second time on screen. The duo came together for Kaththi Sandai directed by Suraaj, which was a lacklustre draw.
The new flick is said to be a typical Sundar C style of comedy in a family entertainer with loads of action and humour. Tamannah, who confirmed the project, has said, “I’m very excited to be working with Sundar sir. I’ve wanted to work with him since the beginning of my career and I’m glad it’s finally happening.”
Giving out some details about her role, she had revealed, “It’s an action film and my character is action-based.” Malayalam heroine Aishwarya Lekshmi will be foraying into Tamil and her character is said to be as equally significant as that of Aishwarya.
Jagapathi Babu, seen in the recent Ajith film Viswasam, will essay the villain’s role. Sources say that Harris Jayaraj who worked in Vishal’s debut film Chellame and later in Sathyam, will score the music. Meanwhile, Sundar C’s film with STR, Vandha Rajava Thaan Varuven is hitting the marquee this Friday.
