Yesteryear comedian, the legendary Goundamani who tasted success on his return as a hero after a long gap with the film 49-O, is all geared up with his next, Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayaadhu. The actor plays a person who helps lovers unite using Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and other modern methods, in this political satire!

Tollywood actress Sana has been roped in as his co-star. Playback singer Velmurugan appears for the first time alongside Goundamani, playing a vital character, while filmmaker Suseenthiran’s assistant Ganapathy Balamurugan directs the movie.

He says, “Goundamani sir plays an atheist, whose name in the film is ‘Caravan’ Krishnan — he also lends caravans for movie shoots. I was amazed by his effortless performance!”

Speaking about an interesting excerpt from the movie, Ganapathy says, “There’s a scene where his wife Sana dances like a possessed woman, and when priests are unable to stop her — Goundamani steps in. He appears before her, dressed exactly like Aamir Khan in the film PK! This takes her by surprise — shock rather, and she gets shaken out of her demonic trance! It was a laugh riot filming this,” he grind.
