Thavam hails farmers
Directed by Vijay Anand and Suriyan, the film has Seeman who took a hiatus from films after he got busy with his political commitments.
With films hailing farmers and speaking about the importance of agriculture becoming a trend yet again in Tamil cinema, here is another movie in the genre titled Thavam, which is all set to hit the marquee on November 8.
Directed by Vijay Anand and Suriyan, the film has Seeman who took a hiatus from films after he got busy with his political commitments. He is back playing a teacher in a rural school. Vasi and Poojasri play the lead pair.
The director duo says, “We have made the film with the strength of our story. It talks about the significance of farming and cultivation and women empowerment. Though there’s a message, it is not preachy. Any filmmaker in Tamil cinema has not touched the romantic angle we have explored. Though Vasi is a debutant, he performed like a seasoned actor.”
